Morgan Webb is a Canadian-American co-host and segment producer who became popular on the G4 network. She studied at the Walter Middle School and moved to North Hollywood High School where she graduated in 1996. She took up a bachelor’s degree in rhetoric and a minor in Italian at UC Berkley. After graduating she took a job as a website administrator.
When she was a kid, Morgan Webb began making commercials for Gerber baby food, McDonald’s and Kenner Toys. She was an avid fan of video games because her parents didn’t allow her to watch television when she was a child, and among her favorites were Combat, followed by The Legend of Zelda and Phantasy Star.
Her computer skills and knack for continuous knowledge in computers and technology led her to a stint at the TechTV show The Screen Savers. She also hosted the show in some occasions, and her hosting duties were eventually transferred to hosting X-Play.
Morgan Webb is among the pioneers in the world of making “internet generation” shows such as Underground. Prior to this, she handled a daily video blogging initiative called WebbAlert, which served as a daily dose of the latest and hottest in the technology and computers. The video blog ran from August 2007 until January 2009.
Morgan Webb also contributed as a video game columnist in magazines. She had a column, “Tips from the Video Game Goddess,” wherein she answered emails from fans and video game aficionados. She wrote for almost two years, from 2005 to 2007.
Morgan Webb married Rob Reid in San Francisco, California, on August 19, 2006. She has dual citizenship, Canadian and American.
